True stories of close encounters with Vancouver's drunken street bums, known in Canadian slang as "Rubbies". Growing up in the suburbs did not prepare me to deal with such lowlife, although I gradually grew more empathetic with these examples of damaged humanity.

• RR#5 A tussle involving Ray Douglas, since deceased, a legendarily ugly rubbie who has also been featured in the comics of David Boswell.
• RR#6 A panhandler tries to bum money so he can get back to prison for the weekend.
